Opening Reception & Fall Uptown Art Walk:
October 17th, 5:30-7:30pm
The Cleveland County Arts Council is proud to present their newest exhibit, “The Secret is in the Wood”, a celebration of Frank Barrow and his incredible work. The show will start with an opening reception at the Arts Council from 5:30- 7:30pm on October 17th, 2019 and will conclude on November 16th, 2019.
We will have artists Lydia Seargant here inside Greenbrook Design as a stop for the Art Walk October 17, 2019 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Come by and see first hand her attention to detail in all her jewelry-making skills. Purchase jewelry and enjoy a fun-filled “Art- Walk” evening in Uptown Shelby, NC. Greenbrook Design will have extended hours October 17, 2019 until 7:30 pm.

Save the date for Shelby’s most well known event – the Mush, Music, and Mutts festival which is hosted in Uptown Shelby around the historic Court Square. Fall would not be the same without this festival or liver mush both are a staple in our community and a tradition. Some of the highlights will be:
- Pet Festival sponosored by Roll Over Pets
- Performances by regional groups

First Friday October 4, 2019
We love our community and look for opportunities to give back. This first Friday we are excited to partner with the Travis Powell foundation; they help clothe many of the less fortunate children in Cleveland County. We are asking families in our community to come help fill up our closet with new clothing.
We will be taking donations at Greenbrook Design from September 30, through First Friday October 4, 2019.
**Please note: all donations must be new with tags – current clothing size needed – ages 5 to 13 – specifically teenage girls
