Lacey Pruett

“The kitchen is such an important part of the home, you gather there with your family for coffee and breakfast before the busy day; you sit around the kitchen table and do homework with your kids; you regroup for dinner and unwind. You visit around the island with friends and catch up over glass of wine. It’s where life happens.”

Lacey Pruett is a designer, lover of all things architecture, and a life enthusiast.  She uses life experiences to help design spaces for the future.  Lacey’s goal in each design is to create a distinctive and sophisticated design with a soulful vibe.  Her love for older historic homes is what led her to interior design.  After graduating from Cherryville High School she attended The Art Institute of Charlotte where she received her Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts degree in Interior Design.  Before graduating she completed a thesis on historical preservation and she continues to be intrigued by history in older homes and the stories they hold.  In addition to historic preservation, Lacey also loves designing new homes, kitchens, and bathrooms.

After working as a kitchen designer for seven years, Lacey began working at Cherryville High School overseeing the computer lab.  She loves technology and enjoys using software to create designs.  She is so excited to be back in the design field and working for Greenbrook Design. She also enjoys photography and loves to capture special moments.  She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. Lacey is innovative, creative, and prides herself in making her client’s dreams become a reality. She is always 100% available to her clients throughout the entire process of their project.
