David Walter
With a true eye for design, David specializes in space planning, furniture sourcing, hard material picking, and color selections. While attaining his degree, David began developing skills working as a Design Associate for a luxury home brand. After graduation, David continued to hone his craft by working as a designer with a hospitality firm in Spartanburg, South Carolina, specializing in hotel design and procurement. Two years in the commercial sector of design, David found his passion is with residential design. He started working as a kitchen and bath designer with a local company in Taylors, SC. As David grew as a designer, and became more versed in all aspects of design, he decided to take himself to the next level with launching his own retail design studio. After a year of operating and maintaining his storefront he decided he needed to scale back his business and really focus on what he truly loved, designing.
David closed his storefront and had the opportunity to join Greenbrook Design, located in Shelby, NC, whose goal is to offer interior design services including custom furnishings and turnkey designs thanks to well established relationships with top-of-the-line vendors.
When he is not working at the showroom, David enjoys shopping, spending time with friends, and going down to the coast! He also likes to flip furniture when he has time! Of course anything to do with his dog is considered a great day too!
