A BENEFIT CONCERT FOR FEEDING KIDS CLEVELAND COUNTY. 2018

Join other passionate music lovers at the 2nd Annual Nashville Hitmakers concert on April 28, 2018.
This unique concert features 4 legends of country music songwriting as they play their songs and share the inspiring stories of writing the hits and their hilarious interactions with the stars who sang their hits. You’ll hear stories about flying on Willie Nelson’s private jet, moving a monkey for Eddie Rabbitt, and navigating through the ups and downs of the music business.
All proceeds from this concert will benefit Feeding Kids Cleveland County (www.feedingkidscc.org). They are a local nonprofit who works to address the major problem of food insecurity among nearly 1 in 3 kids in Cleveland County.

FIRST FRIDAY, April 6, 2018 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
* Jaron will take the mic at approximately 6:00 pm
Woody Padgett with Future Energy – will be sharing hot samples fresh off the Big Green Egg Grill for this First Friday!
Jaron will be available for photos opportunities and will be selling his CD’s here at Greenbrook Design.

Jaron Strom graduated from Crest High School before attending Appalachian State University. Although he now lives in Charlotte, Strom announced that he’s from Shelby on the show.
Jaron has a mix of style which may remind you of the sweet tone of Bruno Mars, perfect falsetto runs by Justin Timberlake and the catchy simplicity of Motown itself. He also plays guitar and get ready because he’s only just begun with his music career and he has a think less, do more attitude.
Rosemary Costner: performing 4:00 – 5:30 pm
Rosemary is a 12 year old and a 7th grader at Pinnacle Classical Academy in Shelby. Rosemary has been singing since she was a preschooler at church. She picked up the Ukulele at age 6 and later moved on to guitar at age 10. Rosemary is on both the Volleyball and Softball teams and is a member of the Junior National Honor Society. Her favorite kind of music is country and she also enjoys playing classic rock.
FIRST FRIDAYS: What is First Fridays?
It is the opportunity to bring together the community in a casual atmosphere, enjoying a bite to eat, live cooking demonstrations, perhaps live music, local artist or seasonal gatherings. First Fridays will take place in our showroom where you and your friends can feel at home! And, we encourage everyone to visit Uptown Shelby for more shopping, dining & entertainment.
