Changing the direction of the wood grain can completely transform the look of a cabinet as it does in this project. The custom wine room used quarter sawn white oak with all panels in a vertical direction. The blue and white kitchen created a warm and inviting atmosphere which is reflective for the heart of the home.

Before in the Kitchen
Kitchen
Objective: Design an open concept kitchen that flows freely into the dining area.
The pairing of soft blue and clean white sets the perfect tone for this heart of the home. Natural light pours into this space making it warm and inviting. The open concept means everyone can stay connected as they go from kitchen to dining room. The added desk, with a walnut top, along one wall of cabinets, provides a place to sit and jot down that grocery list or address that bill for the mail. A 2 and a half inch marble countertop adds the perfect touch to this kitchen and the glass front doors allow the homeowners to display some of their favorite kitchen pieces. This space also provides ample storage for everything you need to cook those delicious meals everyone enjoys.
Wine Room
Objective: Create a wine room that can store and display wine in a functional and elegant way.
The warm white oak wood against black trim and edging produced a stunning contrast in this unique wine room. The vertical grain is not a common choice by homeowners, but one that creates an amazing finished product. Two backlit panels highlight the wine bottle displays elegantly while keeping them stored safely. There is also lighting hidden behind the trim providing additional lighting so that no bottle goes unnoticed. Glass shelves complete the look and help add a touch of modern to the overall design. At the center of it all is the wine cooler ensuring that the beverages are always ready to pour for family and friends.
Home Interior
Objective: Transform multiple areas in the home to represent the style of the homeowner.
Details matter not only because they make a house feel like a home but they tell the story of those that live there. There are so many beautiful elements throughout this lovely home reflecting what matters to the homeowners from the master bedroom suite to the newly tiled fireplace. One highlight was the live edge table, it provides ample seating for family and friends while setting an elegant vibe to the entire space. It was an honor to help our client tell their story through design.
